This study aims to examine the impact of financial intelligence tools in enhancing both domestic and foreign investment in Iraq during the period (2018–2024), through analyzing the relationship between electronic cards, digital wallets, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and automated teller machines (ATMs), and investment indicators for both types, The study adopts a descriptive, analytical, and quantitative approach, utilizing the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyze data and test the hypothesis. The results revealed a clear development in financial intelligence tools in Iraq, reflected in a significant increase in the number of electronic cards, digital wallets, POS terminals, and ATMs, indicating a gradual transition toward a digital economy, The findings also show that these tools had a positive and statistically significant impact on supporting domestic investment more than foreign investment. Domestic investment recorded continuous growth over the study period, whereas foreign investment remained at negative levels due to factors beyond financial intelligence tools, such as political and legislative instability, The regression analysis results confirmed strong positive relationships between financial intelligence tools and investment, where digital wallets and POS systems explained a substantial proportion of variations in investment levels. The study further demonstrated that financial digital transformation contributes to improving banking system efficiency, reducing reliance on cash, and enhancing financial inclusion, which positively reflects on the investment environment, The study concludes that financial intelligence tools represent a key factor in supporting economic development and stimulating investment in Iraq.
