The research aims to identify the impact of financial technology (FinTech) applications on the development of digital economy indicators in Iraq. To achieve this goal, the researchers analyzed the relationship between the use of electronic payment tools (number of ATMs, POS terminals, electronic cash points, and the number of electronic banking cards) and digital economy indicators represented by ( e-government, ICT infrastructure, human capital, internet services, and digital government) . The analysis relied on data issued by the United Nations, the Central Bank of Iraq, and the Ministry of Planning. The study concluded that financial technology has had a tangible impact on improving certain digital economy indicators, such as increasing the use of electronic payment tools, raising financial inclusion rates, and enhancing some aspects of digital infrastructure. However, other indicators, such as internet services and e-participation, still suffer from weaknesses that limit the full impact of financial technology on digital economic development in Iraq
