Abstract

The research aims to study the direct and indirect impact of using electronic payment methods on non-oil revenues for the general budget in Iraq, In order to achieve this goal, the deductive approach was relied upon and the descriptive analytical method was used by analyzing the data related to electronic payment methods and tools and the financial data of public revenues, with an analysis of them for period (2018-2023).The analysis reveled that electronic payments in Iraq have contributed to improving financial services and boosting the countrys non-oil revenues, Accordingly, the central Bank of Iraq must be urged to expand the use of electronic payment methods by expanding financial inclusion and strengthening confidence in the banking system im order to have a positive impact on increasing non-oil revenues and thusm increasing government revenues in Iraq.
